Sex Offender Registry Loophole Would Be Closed With Bill ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- Rockland legislatior Ken Zebrowski is looking to propose legislation that would require law enforcement to send change of address forms to the state Divisino of Criminal Justice Services, according to lohud.com. Trumbull Responders Clean Up 6 Car Pileup On Route 8 TRUMBULL, Conn. -- Trumbull EMS and the Nichols Fire Department responded to a six-car pile up on Route 8 on Monday evening.The accident occurred just before 10 p.m. and reportedly involved a deer, the Nichols Fire Department said. Morning Car Rollover Causes Closure On Route 8 In Shelton SHELTON, Conn. -- A vehicle rollover left the driver trapped on Route 8 between exits 12 and 13 on Tuesday morning, according to officials. The incident occurred just before 10 a.m. Crews arrived and were able to remove the occupant, who sustained minor injuries, according to CT Post. Police: Man, 28, Scammed Westport Woman In Auto Body Scheme WESPORT, Conn. -- Westport Police charged a New Haven man on Wednesday, Nov. 9 with scamming a woman on auto body repairs, officials said. Bobby Megel, 28, solicited the victim to repair dents in her vehicle while she was on the Sherwood Island Connector, police said. Megel charged the victim $415 and made it appear he had completed repairs. Overtime, the victim said Megel, instead caused more damage to her vehicle, police said.
