Olympic boxing hopeful charged with domestic violence STAMFORD, Conn. – Stamford Olympic boxing hopeful Nick Scaturchio is facing charges of physically and psychologically abusing his 15-year-old girlfriend and assaulting her dog, according to the Stamford Advocate. Scaturchio, 19,  was charged with violating a judge’s protective order, second-degree assault, disorderly conduct, criminal mischief, risk of injury to a child, robbery, larceny and threatening. Overnight Bridge Repairs Start On I-95 In Westport WESTPORT, Conn. – Overnight bridge repairs on Interstate 95 in Westport will cause lane closures through the end of June.  Motorists can expect delays on I-95 at Exit 16 (East Avenue) through Exit 17 (Route 33/Saugatuck Avenue) in Westport.  The project consists of bridge maintenance on the I-95 southbound bridge for the Strawberry Hill Avenue underpass in Westport.  Traffic control personnel and signs will be used to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. on weekdays.
