Bridgeport Man Charged In Fatal Heroin Overdose Of Monroe Man BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — A Bridgeport man was charged with multiple drug counts Wednesday stemming from the fatal heroin overdose of a Monroe man, according to U.S. Attorney for Connecticut Deirdre M. Daly. Monroe Police and emergency medical personnel responded to a Monroe home on Nov. 23 on a report of a suspected drug overdose. Rain and clouds move out of the area on Wednesday, and temperatures will feel more spring-like with a high in the low 70s.
