Darien Boys Lax Takes Top Spot In The Nation In Under Armour Poll DARIEN, Conn. -- The Darien High School boys lacrosse was ranked the No. 1 team in the nation according to the latest Inside Lacrosse Under Armour Power Rankings. Darien took the spot after the Hill Academy, located in Ontario Canada lost on Sunday.  The Darien squad is now 8-0 and boasts the nation's longest winning streak, which now stands at 40 games, Inside Lacrosse.  Brunswick School in Greenwich and New Canaan also made the rankings, coming in at No. 12 and No. 19, respectively.  Click here to view the complete rankings.

Jeffrey DiRubio, 32, New Canaan High Grad, Mountain Climber NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- New Canaan High School grad Jeffrey DiRubio died on April 18, according to the New Canaan Advertiser. He was 32. DiRubio worked in the information technology field before joining with the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS) where he and a team scaled Nanda Devi to 20,000 feet.
