Ridgewood's Workweek Begins And Ends On Soggy Note BERGEN COUNTY, N.J. -- Cloudy skies and showers will get the workweek off to a damp start in Bergen County. Clouds and areas of fog and drizzle will burn off leaving patchy clouds Monday afternoon with a high of 75 degrees. Showers will be likely again on Monday night into Tuesday morning. Clouds will move out of the area leaving mostly sunny skies with temperatures in the low 70s. Sun will remain on Wednesday but expect temperatures to be bit cooler, with highs only getting into the 60s. Darien Boys Lax Takes Top Spot In The Nation In Under Armour Poll DARIEN, Conn. -- The Darien High School boys lacrosse was ranked the No. 1 team in the nation according to the latest Inside Lacrosse Under Armour Power Rankings. Darien took the spot after the Hill Academy, located in Ontario Canada lost on Sunday. The Darien squad is now 8-0 and boasts the nation's longest winning streak, which now stands at 40 games, Inside Lacrosse. Jeffrey DiRubio, 32, New Canaan High Grad, Mountain Climber NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- New Canaan High School grad Jeffrey DiRubio died on April 18, according to the New Canaan Advertiser. He was 32. DiRubio worked in the information technology field before joining with the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS) where he and a team scaled Nanda Devi to 20,000 feet. DiRubio is survived byhis parents, Jeffrey, and Joanna; Grandparents, Janet and Wallace Splawn, his siblings Jessica, Matthew, Christopher and Nicholas, many aunts, uncles, and cousins, as well as his dogs Bogie, Franco and Bear.
