Happy Birthday To Hillsdale's Jeff Hostetler HILLSDALE, N.J. -- Happy birthday to Hillsdale's Jeff Hostetler! Hostetler, who is best known for guiding the New York Giants to a victory over the Buffalo Bills in Super Bowl XXV, turns 56 on April 22.  Hostetler was drafted by the Giants in the third round of the 1984 NFL Draft. He also played for the Oakland Raiders and Washington Redskins. He compiled 16,430 passing yards and 94 touchdowns over his career. He was named to the Pro Bowl in 1994.  Hostetler now lives in Morgantown, West Virginia, and owns a construction company.

Morton Riefberg, 90, Danbury Superior Court Judge DANBURY, Conn. -- Former Danbury Superior Court Judge Morton Irving Riefberg died in his Naples, Fla. home on Wednesday, April 19. He was 90.  Born on March 31, 1927 in New York City to Viola (Berger) and Sam Riefberg, Riefberg moved to Danbury in 1954, working as a Chemist for McKesson and Robbins in Fairfield. Forget To Shovel? Fairfield Sending $17K In Bills For Snowy Sidewalks FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- Fairfield homeowners who found their sidewalks shoveled for them following the March blizzard could be hit with a bill from the town, according to the Fairfield Citizen.  The town hired contractors to remove snow and ice from the sidewalks in front of nearly 100 homes following the big storm. The snow removal cost Fairfield just over $17,000. The cost of the snow removal will be passed on to the homeowner along with a $99 fine, the Fairfield Citizen reported.  Those who chose to ignore the fine could have a lien placed on the property, the Fairfield Citizen said.  The t…
