She was employed by the Bergen County Court, Hackensack for 25 years as a clerk before retiring.  She is survived by her beloved daughter-in-law, Rosemarie Merlo, and her loving grandchildren, Kimberley Merlo, Melissa Merlo, and Jeffery Merlo, Jr.

Stamford Bantam A Hockey Team Takes Regional Hockey Crown STAMFORD, Conn. -- The Stamford Sharks Bantam A team ended their season in style this past weekend by winning the New England District Sectional Tournament in Hooksett, New Hampshire. The Stamford boys secured the title by defeating Waltham, Mass. 3-0 in the finals. The Sharks had lost to Waltham in pool play earlier in the tournament.  The Sharks entered the New England District Tournament as the second-ranked Connecticut team following a tough 3-2 overtime loss to Watertown in the Connecticut State Tournament two weeks ago.
