Firefighter Injured Battling Blaze At Popular Rocky Hill Restaurant An early-morning fire sent one firefighter to the hospital and caused significant damage to a popular Connecticut seafood restaurant. The blaze at Saybrook Fish House in Rocky Hill was first reported at 2:45 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 21, according to firefighters. Crews arrived to find heavy smoke pouring from the back of the building at 2165 Silas Deane Highway. The fire was traced to a utility room, officials said. State Investigating Inmate's Death At MacDougall-Walker Prison State authorities are investigating after an inmate at a Connecticut prison died.  According to the state Department of Corrections, employees at MacDougall-Walker Correctional Institution removed the man from his cell around 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 20, and took him to an area hospital, where he later died.  Officials did not release the person's name or speculate on what happened before he was taken out of the cell.  The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.
