Kung Fu Tea Is Coming To Fort Lee FORT LEE, N.J. -- Kung Fu Tea, the chain of bubble teas and iced beverages, has expanded to Fort Lee. The shop is replacing the Subway sandwich location at the Washington Bridge Plaza shopping center. Another is slated for Garden State Plaza. The chain offers a menu of hot and cold coffee and tea drinks along with cold “slush” drinks. They currently operate over 20 locations in New York City and opened at Palisades Center in October. Catherine Chorey, 75, Bergenfield Resident BERGENFIELD, N.J. -- Bergenfield resident Catherine Chorey died on Tuesday, Dec. 8 at Holy Name Hospital in Teaneck. She was 75. Chorey was born in the Bronx on Nov. 18, 1940 to Christopher and Antoinette Joyce. She resided in the Bronx until she eventually married Robert J. Chorey on April 11, 1964. The two began their married life in Yonkers, where they had a son and daughter. The family of four moved to Bergenfield in 1975. In her teens and twenties, Catherine had a passion for horses; often riding in Van Cortlandt Park where she would lead trail rides for others. Chorey worked as …

Westchester County Airport Re-Opens After Disabled Plane Suspends Flights This Story Has Been Updated WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- The Westchester County Airport shut down for nearly two hours after a plane overshot the runway due to poor visibility on Friday, according to LoHud.com. The small Gulfstream rolled off the main runway at approximately 8:30 a.m. No injuries were reported, LoHud.com reported. Ridgewood Lecturer Explores Paterson 'One Building At A Time' RIDGEWOOD, N.J. -- Richard Polton will speak about the history of Paterson as reflected in the buildings that shaped the city and its people. The story will center on the architectural portfolio of Fred Wesley Wentworth, but will also feature an overview of the major buildings near the new Great Falls National Park as well as the most distinctive and noteworthy buildings of downtown Paterson. Bergen County Sheriff's Office Takes A Field Trip To Woodcliff Lake WOODCLIFF LAKE, N.J. -- The Bergen County Sheriff's Office K-9 unit paid a visit to the Dorchester School in Woodcliff Lake recently. Sheriff Officers Robert Mantone, Marcelo Hagoplan, and "Mike" performed demonstrations and showed the various duties performed by the K-9 unit. The Bergen County Sheriffs office is the largest police force in the county. The Office's responsibilities include a broad range of services and functions which assist the public, augment the county's municipal police departments and safeguard Bergen's judicial proceedings.
