Wegmans Begins Work On Montvale Location MONTVALE, N.J. -- New York-based grocery chain Wegmans broke ground on a 225,000-square-foot facility on the site of the DePiero farm in Montvale, according to NJ.com.  The store will be the first Wegmans in Bergen County. North Salem Man Charged With Having Two Pounds Of Marijuana NORTH SALEM, N.Y. -- New York State Police charged a North Salem man with possessing two pounds of marijuana on Wednesday, officials said.  Troopers were dispatched on reports of a domestic dispute. Subsequent investigation revealed approximately two pounds of marijuana, some of which was packaged for sale, police said.  Andrew D. Wiltse, 36, was charged with second-degree criminal possession of marijuana and is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 5, police said.  Several marihuana plants were also located growing on the rental property, police said.

Two Suspects Charged After Alleged K-Mart Theft YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- An Ossining woman and a Peekskill man were charged with grand larceny after allegedly stealing over $1,000 in merchandise from the K-mart in Yorktown, police said.  Boyd Campbell, 19, and Kenisha Dyer, 29, allegedly acted in concert to steal $1,558.67 over the course of two days, police said. The two suspects were arrested and released to a family member after posting $250 bail. They are due back in court on Oct. 27, police said.
