Man Faces DWI Charge After Crash In White Plains WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- New York State Police charged a Mohegan Lake man with driving while intoxicated following an accident on Interstate 287 on Tuesday, officials said.  Gavin Kim, 48, was involved in a single vehicle accident at approximately 11:40 p.m. Troopers who responded to the accident suspected Kim of being intoxicated, police said.  Kim was transported to Westchester Medical Center to be evaluated and also submitted to a blood draw to test the level of alcohol in his system, police said.  Kim is scheduled to answer to his charges on Aug. 12 in White Plains Court.

Man Charged In Homicide Of Yonkers 22-Year-Old YONKERS, N.Y. -- A Yonkers man was charged with murder on Monday in connection to the shooting of another male earlier in the month, according to Yonkers Police. On July 8 at approximately 2:23 a.m., numerous Yonkers police units were alerted to gun shots on Waverly Street Arriving units located a 22 year old male, later identified as Yonkers resident Kenedy Gonzalez, with gunshot wounds to his torso.
