Heat Wave Taking Hold In Armonk WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Potentially dangerous heat and oppressive humidity will linger in Westchester County through the rest of the week and the weekend, according to the National Weather Service.  Wednesday is expected to be the warmest day of the week with sunny skies, light winds and temperatures in the low 90s.  Thursday will be slightly cooler with a chance of afternoon thunderstorms. Expect highs to be around 87 degrees. Friday, Saturday and Sunday will all be very similar with abundant sun and temperatures in the high 80s.

Fairfield Will See Hot, Humid Week FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- Fairfield County residents will once again deal with oppressive humidity, high temperatures and unhealthy air quality throughout the workweek, according to the National Weather Service.  Temperatures will begin an upward trend on Tuesday with a high near 90 degrees.  The Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection has also issued an Air Quality Action Day for Tuesday for coastal Fairfield County.  The Action Day, which will be in effect from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., means that ground level ozone may approach or exceed healthy standards.
