He was 81.  Doubleday took over the publishing business that bore his name from his father who had made the company a household name. Doubleday then used his family wealth the purchase the New York Mets in 1980 and built an organization that won the 1986 World Series, The New York Times reported. Police Release Video Of Vehicle Sought In Fatal Greenburgh Hit And Run GREENBURGH, N.Y. -- Police have released a video of the vehicle suspected in a fatal hit-and-run involving a 23-year-old Greenburgh resident last week. Darryl Chung, 23, was walking along South Road and believed to be heading home at approximately 1:45 a.m. when he was struck by a vehicle and killed.
