Westport Police Make Arrest In Death Of Bridgeport Man Found In Road WESTPORT, Conn. -- Westport Police arrested an Easton man in connection to the death of a Bridgeport man last year, according to TheHour.com. John Lahey, 39, is facing charges of tampering with evidence, interfering with an officer and breach of peace, all of which stem from the death of Sandokan Kayan Harrell, whose body was found on Partrick Road last November. Lahey was also charged with violating his probation, TheHour.com said. A jogger found Harrell's body on the side of Partrick Road on Nov. 15, and police immediately dubbed his death "suspicious." Thomas Brunson Jr., 57, Former Bridgeport Resident BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- Thomas Brunson Jr. of Boykin, Va., passed away Friday, Feb. 6. He was 57. Brunson was born in Bishopville, S.C., on June 20, 1957, the eldest of four children to Sarah Blackwell and Thomas Brunson Sr. He lived in Bridgeport, where he graduated from Central High School in 1975. Canute Kelly, 87, Norwalk Resident NORWALK, Conn. -- Norwalk resident Canute Kelly passed away Sunday, Feb. 15. He was 87. Kelly is survived by his wife, Inez Simon-Kelly; two sisters, Rose Kelly-Smith of Chicago and Dorrette Kelly-Gray of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; and one brother, Simon Kelly of Norwalk; and a host of nephews, other family members and friends. A funeral service will be held Monday, Feb. 23, at 11 a.m. at Canaan Institutional Baptist Church, 31 Concord St., South Norwalk. Inez Williams, 86, Bridgeport Resident BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- Inez Williams of Bridgeport passed away Tuesday, Feb. 10, at Bridgeport Hospital. She was 86. Williams was born in Marion, Fla., on May 11, 1928, to the late Frank Williams and Bertha Keyes. Williams was the first black woman driver to work and retire from the CT Transit in Stamford. Bronxville Schools Release Proposed 2015-16 Calendar BRONXVILLE, N.Y. -- Schools Superintendent David Quattrone offered a draft 2015-16 calendar for the Board of Education to consider on Friday, Feb. 13.
