Eastchester Hoops Star Olivia Heffernan Scores 1,000th Point EASTCHESTER, N.Y. -- Eastchester High School senior Olivia Heffernan scored her 1,000th career point during a girls basketball game on Feb. 6. The milestone came when she hit a free throw late in the last quarter of a 55-36 victory over Pelham High School. Olivia has played on the varsity team since she was in eighth-grade and came into her own during sophomore and junior years. No girl had reached 1,000 points for the Eagles in 15 years.
