Rutherford Education Foundation Stages Whiskey Tasting Fundraiser RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- The Rutherford Education Foundation will hold a whiskey tasting fundraiser on Saturday, Jan. 30 at Mason's Cellar.The event will feature selections from Woodford Reserve Distillery and light fare provided by Matera's on Park. Stamford Police Charge Man With Groping Girl STAMFORD, Conn. -- A Stamford man was charged on Monday with groping an underage girl, according to the Stamford Advocate. Lenin Flores, 39, was charged with fourth-degree sexual assault and a risk of injury to a child in connection to a complaint paced in May that he molested a 13-year-old girl, the Stamford Advocate reported. Two Teen Boys Charged In Stamford Car Burglaries STAMFORD, Conn. -- Stamford Police charged two 15-year-old boys in connection to Christmas Day car burglaries, according to the Stamford Advocate. The burglaries were reported from residences in the Strawberry Hill and Hope Street area. Two Rhinebeck Residents Injured In Awning Collapse RHINEBECK, N.Y. -- Two people were seriously injured on Tuesday when a residential awning collapsed on them, according to Time Warner Cable News. The awning collapsed under the weight of snowfall at approximately 5 p.m. Responders had to cut the two victims out from underneath it, Time Warner Cable News reported. North Haledon Launches Spring Soccer NORTH HALEDON, N.J. -- North Haledon is looking for boys that are serious and interested in playing spring soccer at the club level. The North Haledon Soccer Club will be trying to put together an Under 12 (born after Aug.1, 2003) and Under 10 (born after Aug. 1, 2005) boys travel team for a trial season that will play in the Metro Youth Soccer league (MYSL).
