Jeffrey Ramirez, 26, of West New York, N.J., was charged with DWI after officers received a report of a motor vehicle crash on South Boulevard. When officers arrived, they found Ramirez inside his vehicle which has overturned and crashed into a stone wall, police said. BREWSTER, N.Y. -- A head-on crash Tuesday morning has sent three men to the hospital, one with very serious injuries who was airlifted by helicopter, and resulted in the closure of Route 22 for the next several hours, according to Putnam County Sheriff Donald B. Smith. Putnam Man Stole More Than $1,000 At Mall, Police Say YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- A Putnam Valley man was charged Sunday with stealing more than $1,000 from a cash register at the Sears store at the Jefferson Valley Mall, according to the Yorktown Police. Dominic Santucci, 53, was charged with felony grand larceny after a police investigation uncovered he had stolen $1,017 over nine days from a cash register at the store, police said. He was released on his own recognizance and is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 16.

The truck hit the center median on Route 59 at Doscher Avenue with its fuel tank, causing the large leak, said West Nyack Fire Chief Brian Leitner.
