Rockland Legislators, Ed Day Offer Separate Plans To Fund Non-Profits ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- Dueling funding plans by the Rockland County Legislature and County Executive Ed Day leaves 30 nonprofit agencies without funding unless one of the two blinks first and decides to compromise.  The plans, which were announced Wednesday, would partially fund the organizations that were left hanging when the 2017 budget passed without adequate funds earmarked for struggling agencies that help thousands of Rockland residents. Ramapo PD Asks Public's Help In Search For Fugitive RAMAPO, N.Y. -- The Ramapo Police Department is on the lookout for a fugitive on the run and asking the public for help. Heather Angelino, 45, is wanted for failing to show up in court for possession of a hypodermic instrument, police said. The charge stems from an incident that had occurred in the Village of Sloatsburg in July.  Angelino is described as being 5-feet-2 and 160 pounds at the time of her arrest.  Anyone with information is asked to contact the Town of Ramapo Police at 845-357-2400.
