Poughkeepsie Man Busted With $4.9K Worth Of Cocaine, Pot
POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- A Poughkeepsie man was busted Tuesday with cocaine, marijuana, and cash after police conducted a search warrant on his home, according to the City of Poughkeepsie Police.
Rashmi Ruparelia, 40, of Mill Street, was arrested following an investigation by members of the department’s Neighborhood Recovery Unit and Emergency Service Unit into narcotics distribution after receiving numerous complaints from community members, said Sgt. Sean Fitzgerald.

An off-duty Peekskill police officer and another driver have been charged in a fatal crash Sept. 9 that left a 17-year-old yeshiva student dead and injured another, during an accident in September on Route 202 in Ramapo, according to the Ramapo Police.
