Ailes Family Sells Putnam County Courier, Pcnr To Longtime Editor
PUTNAM COUNTY, N.Y. -- The Putnam County Courier and the Putnam County News & Recorder have been sold by the Ailes family, of Fox News fame, to the paper's editor and associate publisher Douglas Cunningham, according to the Courier.
Elizabeth Ailes, who is listed as the owner and publisher of both papers, is married to Roger Ailes, the former CEO of Fox News who retired after being accused of sexual harassment by several employees.
Terms of the sale, set to close this week, were not disclosed, said the Courier.

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- A Poughkeepsie man found himself behind bars after getting into a fight with his girlfriend at the Sunoco/Dunkin Donuts parking lot in Highland, according to the Town of Lloyd Police.
Daniel Givens, 29, was arrested Tuesday, Dec. 6, after police found he was in possession of a large amount of cocaine and heroin, during a search following the fight, said Lt. James S. Janso.
