Poughkeepsie Man Caught With Loaded .22, Heroin, Police Say

DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. -- A Poughkeepsie man was nabbed on Thursday, Dec.8 , with a loaded .22 caliber handgun and heroin during a joint investigation of the City of Poughkeepsie Police and the Department of Corrections and Community Supervision, according to City of Poughkeepsie Police.
Elijah L. Samuels, 23, of 559 Main St., was caught with a loaded Ruger .22 caliber handgun, 13 grams of heroin, an additional 100 glassine envelopes of heroin, packaging materials and $400 in cash, Sgt. Sean Fitzgerald said.
