Brewster Man 37, Accused Of Cocaine Possession
BREWSTER, N.Y. -- A Brewster man was charged with drug possession after being stopped by deputies with the Putnam County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Unit, according to Putnam County Sheriff Donald B. Smith.
Vinicio Quezada, 37, was arrested on Saturday, Oct. 29, after deputies assigned to the unit were on patrol on North Main Street in the Village of Brewster when they spotted Quezada, who they knew to be a suspect in an ongoing narcotics sales investigation, sheriff's officials said.

Kent Men Accused Of Punching, Kicking Fellow Resident
KENT, N.Y. -- Two Kent men were charged with beating and kicking another man during an argument, sending the victim to the hospital, according to the Kent Police Department.
Conor Joyce, 37, and Darren Mills, 47, were accused of beating and kicking the man in the head and body on Wednesday, Oct. 26, causing lacerations to his head and face, said Kent Police Officer Corey Ashe.
Joyce and Mills fled the scene, but were captured the following day and charged with third-degree assault, police said.

Man, Woman Stole $1,569 In Goods From Rhinebeck Market, Police Say
RHINEBECK, N.Y. -- Two Poughkeepsie residents were charged with shoplifting and faking their identities after they were accused of stealing more than $1,569 worth of goods from Tops Supermarket in Rhinebeck, according to New York State Police.
The two, Justin J. Parker, 31, and Kimberly Brand, 27, were charged with petty larceny after troopers responded to the supermarket on Oct. 12 for a shoplifting complaint, state police said.
