Former Somers Wrestling Standout Michael Realbuto Dies At 27
SOMERS, N.Y. -- Former Somers High School wrestling champ Michael Santo Realbuto, 27, of Somers died on Saturday, Oct. 29.
Realbuto, who was the manager of Wonder Wash in Yorktown Heights, graduated from Somers High School in 2007 where he was a five-year varsity member of the varsity wrestling team, serving as captain of the team his senior year.
Following high school, Realbuto attended Binghamton University School of Management.

Police: Woman Cashes Forged Checks In LaGrange, Wappinger, Fishkill
A Poughkeepsie woman was arrested for chasing forged checks totaling $13,000 at several TEG Federal Credit Union branches throughout Dutchess County, according to the New York State Police.
Martina Robinson, 25, was arrested for cashing the forged checks on Tuesday, Oct. 18, at four TEG branches in LaGrange, Fishkill, Hyde Park and the Town of Wappinger, state police said.
Robinson was identified following an investigation by state police.

CLARKSTOWN, N.Y. -- The Clarkstown Police Department arrested a 28-year-old Nanuet man for passing bad checks and assaulting two police officers in New City on Monday, according to the Clarkstown Police Department.
Zarif Shabazz, 28, was arrested after officers responded to the Citibank at 170 N. Main St., in New City at 4:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 31, for a report of a man attempting to pass a fraudulent check, said Pete Walker, spokesman for the Clarkstown Police Department.
