Vandal Writes Trump Slogan On Cars In Yonkers YONKERS, N.Y. -- More than a dozen Yonkers residents reported that pro-Donald Trump slogans had been written on the windows of their vehicles, according to News 12.  Yonkers police said the vandals wrote the message #MAGA, an acronym for Trump's campaign slogan "Make American Great Again," on Dunwoodie Avenue, said News 12. And while the messages were written in washable marker, many residents told News 12 they still considered it a crime, said News 12. Click here to read the News12 report.

Paving Work To Close Three Lanes Of Tappan Zee Bridge Drivers should be prepared for lane closures on the Tappan Zee Bridge Friday night until early Saturday morning for overnight paving work. The closures, which will be staggered, beginning at 7 p.m. with the left southbound/eastbound lane closure, followed by the closure of the second left lane at 8 p.m. All three left-side southbound/eastbound lanes will be closed by midnight, according to the Thruway Authority. The lanes will remain closed until 6 a.m. Saturday.  Closures will run from Exit 10 (Nyack – South Nyack – US Route 9W) to Exit 9, Thruway Authority officials said.
