Man Charged With Choking, Robbing Woman At Dominican College Parking Lot ORANGETOWN, N.Y. -- A Mount Vernon man was arrested by Orangetown Police for attacking a woman during an argument at Dominican College in Orangeburg. Jhavier Daley, 22, was stopped in the parking lot of the college after receiving a compliant from the woman. During the investigation police learned that the two had an argument and that during the fight, Daley had choked the woman and stole money from her purse, police said. Daley was charged with felony robbery and criminal obstruction of breathing. He is being held at the Rockland County Jail.

Danbury Man, 72, Charged With Touching Young Girl DANBURY, Conn. -- A 72-year-old Danbury man has been charged with inappropriately touching a girl in 2010 when she was 9 years old at a home in Danbury, police said. In March, the Danbury Police Department received a compliant that Victor Handal had touched the girl in a sexual manner in 2010. Hartsdale Man Nabbed At Subway Restaurant Burglary Scene HARTSDALE, N.Y. -- A 65-year-old Hartsdale man was scooped up by Greenburgh police for breaking into Subway Restaurant early Friday. Arthur Damato, was arrested after police responded to the restaurant at 65 N. Central Ave., after receiving an alert of a burglary in progress. Officers did not find anyone inside the store, but during their investigation and after canvassing the area, they arrested Damato and charged him with the burglary, police said. Danbury Man Exposed Himself To 9-Year-Old, Police Say DANBURY, Conn. -- A Danbury man was charged on Friday, Sept. 16, with exposing himself to 9-year-old girl during a party. Carlos Samaniego-Ortega, 22, exposed himself to the girl during a party at a residence in Danbury in May, according to Det. Lt. Christian Carroccio. Following the incident, Danbury Police Department's Special Victims Unit investigated the incident, and issued an arrest warrant for Samaniego-Ortega. He turned himself into police on Friday, said Carroccio. He was charged with risk of injury to a minor and is being held on $75,000 bond.
