GARRISON, N.Y. -- Dorothy Jokonya wasn't worried when she felt small pains throughout the day Tuesday, Sept. 6. The mother of two, who was expecting her third child on Sept.. 17, just went about her business moving into her new home.
But around 7:20 p.m. that night, the experienced mom knew what was coming when she felt the familiar feeling of needing to push, which meant her new little one was making his way quickly into the world.
"He was ready to get out and couldn't do so fast enough," Jokonya, 41, said with a laugh.

Two Men Nabbed Trying To Steal TV From Airmont Walmart
RAMAPO, N.Y. -- Ramapo police nabbed two men who were trying to steal a TV from the Walmart in Airmont around 1 p.m. on Monday.Police responded to the store at 250 Route 59, after receiving a report that two men had taken a large television off the wall in the electronics department and carried it to the front of the store and tried to act as if they had purchased the unit and wanted to return it, said Det.
