Poughkeepsie Police Seeking Witnesses To Homicide POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- City of Poughkeepsie Police are still seeking witnesses to help identify the killer of David Cline, a contractor from Ancramdale who was found murdered at 4 Edgar St. in late July. Cline's body was discovered by the homeowner that had hired him to perform work.  According to Acting Police Chief Thomas Papas, detectives have tracked Cline's movements to the McDonald's on Main Street in Poughkeepsie on July 24 where he ordered a strawberry milkshake and french fries.  Anyone who has information is asked to contact police at 845-451--7577.

Police said the man walked into the bank on Route 9W and handed the teller a note demanding cash. Investigators did not say if a weapon was displayed, said News 12. Derby Man Sentenced In Steroid, Drug Ring That Involved Newtown Cop NEWTOWN, Conn. -- A Derby man who distributed steroids, cocaine and other drugs as part of a drug ring that was linked to a former Newtown police sergeant was sentenced Monday to three years in prison. Frank Pecora, 55, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Robert N. Chatigny in Hartford to 37 months of imprisonment, followed by three years of supervised release, for distributing prescription narcotics, cocaine and steroids, said Deirdre M. Stamford Man Charged With Animal Cruelty After Leaving Dog In Hot Car STAMFORD — A Stamford man was charged with animal cruelty after leaving his German shepherd locked in a hot van at ShopRite on Saturday morning, according to the Stamford Advocate. A witness called 911 after seeing the dog panting in the van for at least 15 minutes as temperatures soared into the high 80s with an even higher heat index, added the Stamford Advocate.  Alexander Kourdioukov, 52, was released after posting $100 bond, said the Stamford Advocate. Jorge A. Diaz-Hernandez, 34, was arrested after it was determined he was operating his vehicle at more than twice the legal limit at 0.18 percent, according to the Stoney Point Police. Diaz-Hernandez was processed and released. He is scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 15.
