Newsweek Ranks Six Westchester High Schools Among Nation's Top 500 WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Six high schools in Westchester County were ranked among the best in the nation according to Newsweek's list of top 500 high schools this year. Schools are ranked using everything from achievement information, like standardized test results and SAT and ACT scores to students' college readiness. Here's how the six school scored overall:  Briarcliff High School came in at No. 33. It had a 100 percent graduation rate, with 98.8 percent of its students college-bound. Greenburgh Supervisor Calls For Motorcycle Safety Following Fatality WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- As news spread of the death of a 37-year-old motorcyclist from the Fairview section of Greenburgh last week, Town Supervisor Paul Feiner quickly offered safety tips for motorcycle drivers to help prevent future fatalities. Two Yonkers Police Officers Seriously Injured In Car Accident YONKERS, N.Y. -- Two Yonkers police officers received substantial injuries during a car accident Wednesday at the intersection of Kimball Avenue and Mile Square Road, according to lohud.com. Both officers were taken to a nearby trauma center with serious, but not life-threatening injuries, following the accident with a sedan driven by an unidentified woman, said lohud.com. According to New York State Police, Cinzia S. DeGregorio, 33, had a blood alcohol content of 0.08 percent when processed during her arrest.
