Motorcyclist, 28, Dies After Crashing Into Car On Sprain Brook Parkway
GREENBURGH, N.Y. -- A Mount Vernon man died early Wednesday morning after crashing his motorcycle into the back of another vehicle on the Sprain Brook Parkway near Greenburgh, police say.Andre P. Lindsay, 28, was traveling southbound on the Sprain Brook Parkway at a high rate of speed at around 12:30 a.m., when he struck the rear of a southbound 2007 Honda Fit, driven by 44-year-old Ana Y. Mateo-Nunez of the Bronx, according to New State Trooper Melissa McMorris.
Lindsay was ejected from the motorcycle and sustained serious life-threatening injuries, McMorris said.

Ramapo Police Respond To 11 Car Accident In One Day
RAMAPO, N.Y. -- Ramapo police responded to 143 calls for service on Tuesday, including 11 car accidents.Two accidents occurred in New Hempstead, two in the Viola area, two in Airmont, one in Chestnut Ridge, one in HIllcrest, one in Wesley Hills, one in Kaser, and one in Monsey.
Two of the accidents involved injuries, with one driver being transported to Westchester Medical Center.
In addition to the accidents, officers also responded to 21 alarm activations, two fires and six medical emergencies.
Drugs, Cash Seized In Wallkill During Search
WALLKILL, N.Y. -- A search of a Wallkill residence by Middletown police turned up more than $32,000 worth of drugs and $10,000 in cash, according to TWC News.
During the search of the Amy Lane home, officers found 110 envelopes of heroin and unpackaged heroin, worth about 25,000, along with cocaine, crack cocaine and Oxycodone pills, said TWC News.
The home's resident, Giovonnie Perez, was charged with criminal possession of controlled substance and is being held without bail at the Orange County Jail, added TWC News.
