Fire Causes Heavy Damage To Putnam Lake Home PUTNAM LAKE, N.Y. -- It took more than 15 Putnam Lake firefighters to bring an early morning house fire under control this morning on Hermitage Road, according to lohud.com. When firefighters arrived at the fire, which began around 5:30 a.m. on the second floor of the home, they found it engulfed in flames, said lohud.com. Firefighters were able to knock down the blaze within 30 minutes. No one was home at the time, and there were no injuries, added lohud.com.
