Stratford Police Make Quick Arrest At Train Station After Bank Robbery STRATFORD, Conn. — Stratford police quickly located the suspect in a bank robbery on Wednesday, just minutes after he got away with $1,000 in cash, according to the News-Times. Scott Taylor, 46, of Wethersfield, who had the money on him when nabbed by officers, was located at the Stratford Train Station, the News-Times said.  Charges are pending in the robbery, which occurred at the Chase Bank on Main Street, said the News-Times. Bridgeport Woman, 49, Busted On Charges Of Selling Prescription Drugs BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- A 49-year-old Bridgeport woman was charged with selling prescription drugs early Wednesday after detectives with the Connecticut State Police Statewide Narcotics Task Force searched her Bell Street home. According to state police, detectives located hundreds of prescription pills and a number of handguns and rifles during the search, all of which were seized.  The home of Miriam Almourtada-Cotto was searched at about 5 a.m., state police said. Rockland Man Charged With Breaking Window At Restaurant TAPPAN, N.Y. -- A Sparkill man was arrested by Orangetown police following an altercation at the Mezzaluna Restaurant in Tappan on Monday, police said.According to police, Carlos Hernandez, 33, was arrested after allegedly breaking a window at the restaurant following the altercation.  He was transported to the Orangetown Police Department, where he was charged with felony third-degree criminal mischief.
