Man With Gun Impersonates Officer, Robs Pizza Man In Danbury
DANBURY, Conn. — The late delivery of a Dominos pizza on Saturday, July 9, led a Danbury man to threaten the delivery driver with a gun and to take the pizza without paying, according to police.The driver called police to report the incident after he attempted to deliver the pizza to an apartment on Padanaram Road around 11:30 p.m., police said.
The driver told police that when the resident, identified as Damian Davis, 37, opened the door he began yelling at him saying the pizza was late, so he wasn't going to pay for it, police said.

Peekskill Man Charged With DWI After Crash In Yorktown
PEEKSKILL, N.Y. -- A call from a motorist reporting a one-car accident on Old Crompond Road in Yorktown led to the arrest of a Peekskill man on a charge of driving under the influence, according to authorities. According to police, Julio Coronel, 31, was driving drunk when he hit a power pole while driving southbound. When police arrived at the scene, they found that Coronel, who was slightly injured, was operating the vehicle without a license, police said. An investigation into the accident led to additional charges of failing to maintain lane and speeding, police said.

Darien Teen Stole Money From YMCA, Police Say
DARIEN, Conn. -- Just three weeks after being hired as a cashier at the Darien YMCA, a Darien teen was fired from his job after being accused of stealing more than $700 from Body Fitness, according to the Darien Times.
Luis Sanchez, 18, was fired from the job in April and told not to return to the gym after money began disappearing from the cash register, the Darien Times reported. After being fired, according to login records, Sanchez returned twice on on April 14. When questioned by police, he said was trying to make change for the bus, said the Darien Times.

Officials Ask For Help Locating Missing Upstate Man
Public safety officials are asking for help in locating William Caloroso, 78, who was last seen around 8:30 p.m., on Sunday in Nichols, west of Binghamton.Caloroso, who suffers from Alzheimer's Disease, was driving a 2010 dark blue Chevrolet Impala with New York registration GDY-8262.
When last seen, Caloroso was wearing a flannel shirt, blue pants, and may be wearing a baseball hat that says Sidney on top.
He is described as being 5-foot-10, 160 pounds, with brown hair and eyes.
