2016 Memorial Day Events Planned Across Dutchess County
DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. -- Memorial Day ceremonies are planned for numerous locations throughout the county. Many are planned before Monday, May 30, but the majority \ take place on Memorial Day.
Following is a list of events provided by municipalities and community organizations:
Castle Point VA Hospital: Wednesday, May 25, 10 a.m.; Ceremony at Castle Point Campus, River Memorial Garden.
Hyde Park: Friday, May 27, 7 p.m.USO Show at Henry A. Wallace Center.

Libray Exhibit Features New Rochelle Men Who Made Supreme Sacrifice In War
NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- Just in time for Memorial Day, an exhibit of New Rochelle men who died protecting our country will be on display Friday, May 27 to Friday, June 3, at the New Rochelle Library.The exhibit honors New Rochelle residents who gave their lives in the Civil War, Spanish-American War, World War I, World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, and the War in Afghanistan, and includes the names of all the heroes and many of their photographs.

Norwalk Ranks As Fifth-Wealthiest City In The Northeast
NORWALK, Conn. -- Residents of Norwalk know they are pretty wealthy, but according to a recent survey by NerdWallet, the city comes in as the fifth-wealthiest city in the Northeast, behind Stamford, which ranked as the second-wealthiest city, New Rochelle, N.Y., which ranked third, and Cambridge, Mass., which came in fourth in the Top 10.
The wealthiest city in America is Palo Alto, Calif., NerdWallet's survey found. In the Northeast, Newton, Mass., a suburb west of Boston, topped the list.
