Historic Hudson Valley Adds Lightscapes Dates
CROTON-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. -- Due to popular demand, Historic Hudson Valley is extending the run of Lightscapes, its multi- sensory art and light exhibition at Van Cortlandt Manor in Croton-on-Hudson.The event, originally scheduled to close on May 30, will continue Fridays to Sundays, June 3-5 and 10-12. Stratford Couple Charged In Major Heroin Distribution Operation
STRATFORD, Conn. -- Following a three-month investigation, police have charged a couple known as “Big Momma,” and “Baby Lee,” with running a major heroin distribution operation in Stratford, according to the Connecticut Post.
Police told the Connecticut Police that in early March they received information that Chiquita “Big Momma” McPherson, 40, and Leroy “Baby Lee” Bember, 50, were operating a drug factor out of their Fourth Street home and began an investigation.

Perillo receives Shelton GOP Committee Approval
SHELTON, Conn. -- State Rep. Jason Perillo (R-113), a Shelton resident, was recently nominated by the Shelton Republican Town Committee to be their candidate for State Representative, according to the Shelton Herald.
Perillo, who was first elected in 2007, is seeking re-election. He cited his past successes and his drive to accomplish more for Shelton, as his reasons for running again, said the Shelton Herald.
