East Fishkill Offices Close For Memorial Day EAST FISHKILL, N.Y. -- In honor of veterans across the state, the East Fishkill Town Hall, Community Center and Lime Kiln recreation facility will be closed Monday for Memorial Day.  Events happening in East Fishkill to celebrate Memorial Day include a veterans luncheon on Sunday, June 5, from noon-2:30 p.m. at the East Fishkill recreation pavilion for all East Fishkill active and retired military personnel. Events include lunch, guest speakers, and a VA health care benefits informational table.

Man Shot In Back At Bridgeport Apartment Complex BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- Bridgeport police are reporting that a man was shot in the back at the P.T. Barnum Apartments around noon Thursday in front of Building 15 of the complex, according to the Connecticut Post. Police are on the scene looking for the suspect who fled the area, the Connecticut Post reported. The weapon used in the shooting was a .380 semi-automatic pistol, police told the Connecticut Post. The Stratford Police Department is in need of a new K-9 to add to the force. Brianna Schroeter, 15, was reported missing after attending the Refuge Temple Church of God on Main Street. The teen was reported to have been with Michael Pettway, 20, said News 12 Connecticut.
