Frank LaMonica as part of ‪National Police Week‬.  Sheriff's deputies patrol 841 square miles of Dutchess County, protecting the county's residents.  "Dutchess County is really fortunate to have these men and women, who sacrifice every day," Molinaro said."They really do place their life's on the line."

New Fairfield Teachers Cast No Confidence Vote For Superintendent NEW FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- New Fairfield Education Association President Keith Conway announced last week that 70 percent of the district's school teachers had cast a vote of no confidence in Superintendent Dr. Alicia Roy and called for her resignation, according to WLAD.com. According to Conway, 160 teachers voted no-confidence, 25 teachers voted in favor of Roy, and 42 did not vote. Alcohol Before Noon Could Be Coming Soon In New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo said he supports legislation that would update the Alcoholic Beverage Control Law to allow alcohol to be served starting on Sundays at 8 a.m. from noon. Currently, restaurants and bars can't sell alcohol before noon, upsetting many who frequent Sunday brunches. The new legislation would create a permit that allows businesses to begin selling alcohol at 8 a.m. Cuomo also said he is proposing reducing paperwork for craft manufacturers, which would allow beer manufacturers and wineries to sell their products in growlers.
