Suffern Man Charged With DWI After Report of Erratic Driving SUFFERN, N.Y. -- A Suffern man has been charged with driving under the influence and unlawful possession of marijuana after police received a report of a person driving erratically on Lancaster Driver on Wednesday. According to police, the 30-year-old unidentified man was driving so erratically that a concerned citizen contacted the department to report that he was driving all over the road, police said. New Canaan Selectmen Approve New Roof For Waveny House NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- The New Canann Board of Selectmen recently approved a project to repair the roof at Waveny House, along with several other project requested by the Department of Public Works, according to the New Canaan Advertiser. The roof will be redone with engineered lumber at a cost of $120,500, the Advertiser said.
