Gran Fondo Racers Ride Through Rockland County
ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- More than 5,000 riders from 70 countries rode through every Rockland County town on Sunday as part of the 100-mile Campagnolo Gran Fondo Championship race that runs from the George Washington Bridge to the Bear Mountain Bridge, according to lohud.com.
The race draws a spectrum of racers, celebrities and enthusiasts, including everyone from CEOs, firefighters and teachers to people with disabilities and others, to experience riding the challenging and scenic course, said race officials, according to lohud.com.

Pelham School Board Calls 2 Meetings For Next Week
PELHAM, N.Y. -- The Board of Education will hold two meeting next week, one private and one open to the public on Monday and Tuesday. On Monday, the board will immediately enter into executive session to discuss matters related to attorney-client privilege.
On Tuesday, the public session of the regular meeting is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. in the library on the second floor of Pelham Middle School, 28 Franklin Place.
