In March, the company filed for Chapter 11 and said that it would close 140 stores. State Delays Yankee Doodle Bridge Work In Norwalk Until 2018 NORWALK, Conn. -- Rehabilitation work on the nearly 60-year-old Yankee Doodle Bridge on Interstate 95 in Norwalk has been delayed until 2018, according to the Connecticut Post. Department of Transportation officials said the $25 million project will take place along with a project to resurface a section of the highway and rebuild a median east of the bridge.
