Jury Finds Bridgeport Woman Not Guilty In Abusive Boyfriend's Death
BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- After three years in prison and two trials on charges of killing her abusive boyfriend, a Bridgeport woman is going home after being found not guilty of murder, according to the Connecticut Post. Cherelle Baldwin had the support of 38 national domestic violence advocates and an online petition, all calling to set her free in the 2013 death of Jeffrey Brown, the Post said.
