Two Main Street School Destination Imagination Teams Head To State Tourney
IRVINGTON, N.Y. -- Two Destination Imagination teams from Main Street School took top honors at the regional tournament, held recently at Mercy College, and have advanced to the state tournament, which will be held in Binghamton next month. The Fantastic Fiolians took first place in the Get a Clue category, while the Imaginators placed second in the Meme category.

Journey 'Back To The Bronx' With Mahopac Library Talk
MAHOPAC, N.Y. -- If you lived in the Bronx in the 1940s, '50s or '60s, then "Back in the Bronx," a multimedia program to be held at Mahopac Public Library on Sunday, March 20, will rekindle a unique set of memories and experiences.
Led by Stephen M. Samtur, DeWitt Clinton High School Class of 1961, the program will bring back the sights, sounds and neighborhoods of the old Bronx. SCARSDALE, N.Y. -- To celebrate Dr. Seuss’s birthday the Scarsdale Public Library is having a spectacular “Seuss Is Loose” celebration with the popular Miss Gigi and the Lend Me a Hand Band with Seuss songs and fun on Saturday, March 19, at 10:30 a.m.Theodor Seuss Geisel, who wrote and illustrated under the pseudonym Dr. Seuss, was born on March 2, 1904, in Springfield, Mass.
