Mild Temps Forecast For Bridgeport As We Head Into Sunny Weekend FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. — Cold temperatures Friday night will be the only hiccup in the warm, mild weather we are enjoying across Fairfield County this week, according to the National Weather Service.Friday will be sunny with a high temperatures approaching 60 degrees, which is cooler than Thursday but still above normal, the weather service said.  It will become colder by Friday evening, with lows in the 30s and approaching freezing. Stamford Police Charge Man With Firing Weapon In Public STAMFORD, Conn. -- Stamford Police have charged a West Side man with firing his weapon in public on Dale Street, Thursday afternoon, according to the Stamford Advocate. Police said the unidentified man, who obtained a pistol license three months ago, told officers around 3 p.m., that he was firing a warning shot, according to the Stamford Advocate. No one was injured, said the Stamford Advocate. Officers recovered one slug from a nearby porch where someone was sitting at the time of the shooting, added the Stamford Advocate.
