Malloy Applauds Passage Of Tougher Firearms Legislation FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- Legislation introduced that would strengthen the blood alcohol limits for carrying a firearm as well as for hunting while under the influence, received unanimous approval in the General Assembly's Public Safety and Security Committee on Friday, said Gov. Dannel P. Malloy.Under current state laws, the blood alcohol content limit for both offenses is 0.1. However, the limits for drunk driving and drunk boating are 0.08. Danbury Man To Serve 16 Years In Prison For Home Invasions Of Drug Dealers DANBURY, Conn. -- A Danbury man has been sentenced to 16 years in prison for taking part in a series of violent and brutal home invasions carried out by a 10-member gang, according to the News-Times. Marlon Patterson, 32, was one of the leaders of the gang that broke into homes of drug dealers wearing masks and carrying guns to steal their cash and drugs, the News-Times said.
