Woman Fatally Struck By Car In Loudoun County A 75-year-old woman was fatally struck by a car in Loudoun County Monday, Oct. 23. The woman was in the crosswalk on Old Ryan Road and Hammersmith Place in Ashburn when she was struck by a Mercedes SUV, around 5:45 p.m., county officials said. The woman was taken to an area hospital where she was pronounced dead. The driver remained at the scene. The Sheriff’s Office Crash Reconstruction Unit continues to investigate the crash. Morris County Football Club Treasurer Embezzled $100K, Police Say The treasurer of a Morris County football club has been charged with stealing more than $100,000, police said. The Denville Blue Angels' FC treasurer, Gerald Castellano, stole more than $100,000 over an extended time, Denville police said on Wednesday, Oct. 25. The investigation began on Aug. 21. Castellano was charged on Oct. 3, with theft by unlawful taking, and released on his own recognizance pending a future court appearance date at the Morris County Superior Court.

Khalid Magan was trying to cross Baron Cameron Avenue around 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 23, when he was struck by a Ford F-250 heading west, county police said.
