Assault By Mob: 1 Arrested, 3 At Large In Virginia Beating
One of four people who police say beat a victim in northern Virginia was in police custody as of Wednesday, Sept. 13.
Daniel Sebastian Duran, 21, of Manassas, was arrested after a traffic stop on Tuesday, Sept. 12, Prince William County police said.
Duran and three other assailants beat a victim in a parking lot on the 11200 block of Bulloch Drive around 8:40 a.m., police said. It began as an argument but escalated, as the men hit the victim and took his shoe, according to police.

The same day that Fredericksburg police warned residents about an increase in vehicle tampering and car thefts across the city, a pair of car thieves were busted.
Kanissha Bowles, 25, of Quantico, and Jahreme Austin, 25, of Stafford, were both charged with grand larceny after stealing a vehicle from the 700 block of Bunker Street, Fredericksburg police said.

Tornado Possible, Flood Watch Issued Across 18 NJ Counties As Thunderstorms Loom
A flood watch is in effect across 18 of New Jersey's counties as thunderstorms with the possibility of a tornado moves in, the National Weather Service said.
The flood watch is in effect until Wednesday evening, Sept. 13, in the following counties, according to the NWS:
Bergen, Burlington, Camden, Essex, Gloucester, Hudson, Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, Monmouth, Morris, Ocean, Passaic, Salem, Somerset, Sussex, Union and Warren.
The NWS said there is a "marginal risk" of an isolated tornado and damaging winds, however, no tornado watch or warning was issued.
