14-Year-Old Cyclist Killed In Crash: Somers Point PD A 14-year-old Egg Harbor Township cyclist was killed in a two-vehicle crash with a car on Thursday, July 17 in Somers Point, authorities said. At 7:58 p.m., officers responded to Maryland Ave. and the Bike Path for a crash between a vehicle and a pedal cyclist, Somers Point police said. The 14-year-old was airlifted to Cooper Trauma Hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said. The driver of the vehicle and three juvenile passengers were not injured, police said. The crash remains under investigation, police said.

Motorcyclist Killed In Gloucester Township Crash: Police A motorcyclist was killed in a crash between a motorcycle and an SUV in Gloucester Township on Sunday, June 20, authorities said. At 3:48 p.m., officers responded to Berlin Cross Keys Road and Sicklerville Road after a motorcycle traveling on Sicklerville Road collided with an SUV, Gloucester Township police said. NJ Woman Nearly Crashed Into Girl Scouts Selling Cookies: Middletown Police A 54-year-old Middletown woman was arrested and charged after she nearly collided with Girl Scouts selling Girl Scout Cookies, authorities announced Friday, July 18. Susan Santos was driving her vehicle at an unsafe speed when she nearly collided with the scouts, Middletown Police said. She is charged with endangering the welfare of a child, endangering another and reckless driving, police said. Man Charged With Murder In Asbury Park Shooting: Prosecutor A 19-year-old Asbury Park man was arrested and charged with murdering a teenager in April, authorities announced Friday, July 18. Jordan Glisson is charged with the fatal shooting of Ah'kim Esdaile, Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond Santiago said. Embattled Atlantic City Police Officer Dies, 30 Warren Young, a police officer in Atlantic City, died on Wednesday, July 16, according to the Atlantic City PBA Local #24. He was 30 years old.
