Bridgeport Rallies To Help Dad With Esophageal Cancer BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – A Bridgeport family is hoping the community can help a father of two battle esophageal cancer.  Fabio Cabral found a lump in his throat and ate soup for a month in an effort to protect his family from crippling medical expenses. When Cabral finally relented, he was diagnosed with cancer that had metastasized. Fairfield's Beach Parking Restrictions Now In Effect FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Parking restrictions at all Town of Fairfield Beaches are now in effect until Labor Day. Entrance to all 5 Fairfield Beaches is free and open to the public but during the beach season, all vehicles must have beach stickers.  Parking fees are $20 on weekdays and $50 on weekends and holidays. To qualify for Resident Rates, the vehicle must be registered and paying taxes to the Town of Fairfield. Ousted Wallington Administrator Sues Borough WALLINGTON, N.J. — Former Wallington Business Administrator Witold Baginski filed suit against the borough and several council persons on Tuesday alleging they ousted him from his position in an act of political retaliation, according to NorthJersey.com.  The suit names the borough as well as council members Eugeniusz Rachelski, Khaldoun Androwis, Melissa Dabal and Bryan Olkowski. Glen Rock Native Appointed Head Soccer Coach Of New York College GLEN ROCK, N.J. — Glen Rock native Maxx Wurzburger was named head soccer coach at the College of Mount Saint Vincent in Riverdale, New York. Wurzburger was a four-year member of the Montclair St. men's soccer team, where he appeared in 85 games, including making an appearance on the 2011 team that made it to the NCAA Final Four.
