Former Fairfield Resident James Blake Is Mistakenly Cuffed By Nypd Officers FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- One-time resident and retired tennis star James Blake was reportedly hand-cuffed and slammed to the ground on Wednesday by undercover New York City Police officers, according to the New York Daily News.  Blake, a Yonkers native, was reportedly mistaken by authorities as a suspect wanted for buying a cell phone with a fake credit card, the Daily News reported.  Blake sustained a cut to his left elbow and bruises to his left leg.
