Sheriff's Department Releases Info On Arrest Of Sex Offender In Southeast SOUTHEAST, N.Y. -- The Putnam County Sheriff's Department has released additional information on the arrest of a registered sex offender in Southeast for failing to report his residence on Thursday, according to officials.  William M. Deitz, 66, who is a high risk, or Level 3 sex offender, was found living in an apartment at 2469 Route 6.
