Yacht Dealers Get Lift From State Lawmakers WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Many wealthy New Yorkers could get a tax break thanks to a piece of legislation in the new budget, according to Crain's New York. Lawmakers passed a measure that makes yachts and other large, expensive boats exempt from sales tax. Weston Is Lone Connecticut High School Ranked Among Nation's Smartest WESTON, Conn. -- Weston was ranked as the 39th smartest public high school in the country in a recent report, according to Business Insider. Deadline Nears For Danbury Eighth-Graders To Sign Up For IT Degree Program DANBURY, Conn. -- The deadline is approaching for eighth-graders to enter a lottery for a program that will allow them to earn an associate's degree for free while they are students at Danbury High School. The new program, called the Danbury Early College Opportunity, offers a degree in information technology from Naugatuck Valley Community College.
