Sheldon Silver Could Face $120K Fine PUTNAM COUNTY, N.Y. -- Former New York State Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver could be forced to pay a fine up to $120,000 for failing to disclose outside income, according to NY State of Politics.  A delinquency notice was filed just weeks after Silver was charged on multiple counts of corruption and was forced to step down from his position as speaker. PTA Activist Fills Opening On Ridgefield School Board RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- Longtime Ridgefield PTA leader Frances Walton was elected to a seat on the school board, according to the Ridgefield Press.  The Board of Education voted unanimously to have Walton fill the vacant seat, which became available after Irene Burgess handed in her resignation, the Ridgefield Press reported.
