Mother, 52, Killed In Peekskill Fire ID'd PEEKSKILL, N.Y. -- The 52-year-old Peekskill mother who died Monday during a house fire has been identified as Elizabeth Birmingham, according to Peekskill police. Birmingham was found in a first-floor bedroom in the early morning multi-house fire 930 Diven St., said Lt. John White. White said they are awaiting autopsy results to determine the cause of death. Peekskill and Croton-on-Hudson firefighters battled the blaze for more than 90 minutes before bringing it under control, White said.
